In addition to the usual use as an aperitif, it is interesting to try the almond cheese in a combination with a platter of cold cuts, in order to enhance the contrast.
It goes well with a good delicate white flavoured wine, or alternatively at the end of the meal with vin santo or passito; to try also with a good craft beer.
