
Oleificio Cartechini
The long history of the Oleificio Cartechini dates back to 1939 when Giuseppe Cartechini began to produce oil in a small restaurant in Montecassiano, in the heart of the Marche countryside. At that time all that Giuseppe had were simple milling mixers turned by a donkey and two wooden presses pulled by hand with the help of a cow. Later Mario, Giuseppe´s son, managed to keep and treasure all his father’s teachings and to pass them on to the Cartechini family for over two generations until today.
It is precisely love and passion for oil that makes the product of the Oleificio Cartechini unique, natural and sincere. Marco and Roberto, just like their grandfather Mario at the time, are passionate since childhood about producing extra virgin olive oil. Even today they continue to use the same techniques and the same secrets that make Cartechini extra virgin olive oil one of the most important products in the panorama of the Marche culinary tradition.
